Last week DPI hosted an employee pumpkin decorating contest. Each department worked together to submit a pumpkin for the company pumpkin decorating contest. The teams were supplied with two cotton eyes, two jewels, a necklace and white paint. In addition to the supplies provided, each team was free to use any extra supplies they wanted.
The pumpkins ranged from scary, goofy to even a Muppet! First place goes to the pumpkin queen: Miss Piggy made by the office staff. Second place belongs to the sales department, with the unicorn. Coming in third was the third shift production department who submitted the scary pumpkin.
DPI prides itself on it’s friendly, collaborative culture. Company events, like this pumpkin decorating contest, are just one example of how DPI brings employees together. Employee-ownership and a strong company culture that values the relationships between employees creates a comfortable working environment.
