Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Perform preventative maintenance (PM) on all injection molding machines and equipment
  • Change oil and filers per schedule
  • Inspect all electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic components
  • Maintain safety features on equipment
  • Maintain records on repairs and PMs to meet the requirements
  • Perform any other plan PM or repairs: such as lighting or auxiliary equipment
  • Maintain cleanliness standards at all times
  • Assist manufacturing, as required
  • Utilize safety equipment at all times, appropriate for the work being performed
  • Actively participate in the safety program
  • Complete special projects as assigned by the maintenance manager

Requirements:

  • Mechanical aptitude
  • Knowledge or willingness to learn good safety practices
  • Possess good organizational skills and time management skills
  • Good mathematical ability
  • Must possess good verbal and written communication skills
  • Exhibit good interpersonal and analytical skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours, if needed

Experience & Skill Requirements:

Years in similar position: 0 (Willing to train)
Years in work force: 3 (Experience with plastic molding preferred)
Years with DPI: 0

Education:

  • High-school diploma
  • Advanced technical training or formal education required

Additional Skills:

  • Vocational training in injection molding preferred
  • Blueprint reading preferred
  • Basic computer skills
