To successfully solve challenges, engineers and product developers must be creative. An inventive mindset is essential for designing new products or improving existing ones that drive success and break barriers. Unfortunately, many epic inventions have been limited or thwarted by what traditional 3D printing and conventional manufacturing can deliver.

Join Carbon’s Jason Lopes, former lead systems engineer for Legacy Effects, to learn how many television and film blockbusters, such as Avatar and Iron Man, were created using the Carbon® Digital Light Synthesis™ (DLS) process for additive manufacturing. Lopes and AJ Frisell, from Diversified Plastics, Inc. (DPI), will explore how the Acceleration Station™, powered by the Carbon DLS process, allows new inventions to be prototyped and produced, at record-setting speed in small to large quantities, that were once impractical to design and impossible to manufacture. You will also learn about important, game-changing products and parts that are being manufactured using the Carbon DLS process.

Be one of the select few to attend this exclusive webinar created to awaken your innovation superpowers.

Jason Lopes, Partner Development Engineer at Carbon
Jason Lopes

Carbon’s partner development engineer, Jason Lopes, former lead systems engineer for Legacy Effects, was the first user of a Carbon printer. Lopes helped create many television and film blockbusters using additive manufacturing, including Avatar, Thor, Terminator Genisys and Terminator Salvation, Iron Man 1, 2 and 3 and others.

After leaving Legacy Effects, Lopes now helps companies leverage additive manufacturing. Lopes was awarded 3D Printing Industry’s Maker of the Year 2017 by the Additive Manufacturing Users Group.
