Toy Drive for Toys for Tots

This year DPI collected toys to donate to Toys for Tots for the holidays. The DPI team filled up a huge box with toys to be donated, including toy cars and trucks, dolls, games and even a large teddy bear. Toys for Tots is a non-profit charity that was founded by the U.S. Marine Corps. Read more…

Julie Showers Retirement Party

Julie Showers, one of the original 13 employees at DPI, has retired after over 40 years with us. Starting as a press operator, she retired as our Production Manager. Julie Showers Featured in Plastics News, Women Breaking the Mold

DPI’s Julie Showers was recently featured in Women Breaking the Mold in Plastics News. She began her career in the plastics industry as a press operator in 1977. Showers was one of DPI’s first employees. Today, she is the production manager at the company. Her duties include scheduling for the shop floor and just-in-time orders.  Read more…

Roger Vang receives the Steve Lampi Service to the Chamber Award from North Hennepin Area Chamber of Commerce (NHACC)

Roger Vang, chief financial officer at Diversified Plastics, Inc., was honored with the NHACC’s Steve Lampi Service to the Chamber Award.
