Diversified Plastics, Inc. COVID-19 Pandemic Contingency Plan

The purpose of this letter is to assure you that Diversified Plastics, Inc. (DPI) is closely monitoring the COVID-19 outbreak and is taking preventative and cautionary actions. These actions are to help protect our employees, customers and suppliers and to ensure business continuity.

We have adopted a proactive attitude and several weeks ago instructed our employees about the importance of following the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) rules to reduce the spread of the disease. We have been in close contact with our key suppliers for weeks, and at this point, see no current supply problems. DPI has instituted a weekly review process to monitor the status of our key materials. If and when changes occur, you will be immediately notified of any shortages or other issues that my affect your business.  Some of our customers have inquired about building additional safety stock of their products. If that is something you are interested in; please contact your DPI sales engineer or customer service. We will work with you to achieve your goals. 

The CDC website will be closely monitored for guidance and recommendations to minimize workplace exposure. Business travel will be limited until the outbreak is under control. The use of WebEx or other video conferencing instead of face-to-face meetings will be strongly encouraged .

We have reviewed the DPI Pandemic Contingency Plan, which details our plans for employee health and contingency plans for logistics and business interruption. At this point, our plan covers the current situation. However, we will continue to monitor the situation and will pivot as necessary, in these uncertain times.

We appreciate your business and want you to know that we are doing everything possible to keep the impact of this outbreak to a minimum for all our employees, customers and suppliers.
